pH calibration is not required before first use as it is pre-calibrated. If the reading is different from what you expected, or after long-term storage, you can calibrate using the following instructions.
Step 1
Prepare pH 6.86/4.00/9.78 standard solutions. Measure 250ml distilled water. Dissolve solution powder in a container. Calibration should starts with 6.86 standard solution.
Step 2
Resin probe tip in clean water and shake off any excess water.
Step 3
Place probe tip in fresh pH 6.86 standard solution until the reading is stable. Reading should be within range of 6.06-7.66
Long press Mode/Cal button, display shows ‘CAL’
Short press Mode/Cal button to select ‘6.86’. Leave the probe in solution while the display is flashing. When the display stops flashing, pH 6.86 calibration is successful.
Step 4
Repeat calibration in pH 4.00 and pH 9.18 standard solutions.
If the display stops flashing and shows “Err’
pH calibration failed, please re-calibrate or prepare fresh standard solution. Or contact us for further assistance.
